Basecamp

Sunday Morning Worship

A key part of our church life is Basecamp; the name for our main Sunday morning worship times.

We are currently meeting face to face for Basecamp every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at the Miner's Welfare Hall on Garforth Main Street. You can check our events calendar for more details on these gatherings or contact the Hub for more information.

A Basecamp is a place to rest, be refreshed and equipped. A starting point for a journey, not the destination.

The Meeting

We love to gather together as a church to worship and enjoy God’s presence together. Our meetings start at 10:30am, usually with a welcome and introduction from the person leading the meeting before a time of sung worship. We usually follow this with teaching and a time of ministry.

Our style is non-religious and we want people to be free to be involved wherever you are on your journey with Jesus.

Kids & Youth

We want our Sunday church meetings to be as relevant to our young people as possible, and give them a place to encounter Jesus for themselves.

We have children's activities running during our main meetings where children can learn, play, explore and create.

Prayer

We’re expectant to experience God’s transforming presence when we gather together, and always give space for people to be prayed for. Our prayer team are always on hand to pray with you and we often have ministry times following worship.

Join Us

Our meetings normally start at 10:30am but we have tea and coffee together from 10am. This is a great opportunity to meet and catch up with people.
